James Michael "Bubba" Bobbitt, 53, of Hickman, Kentucky passed away 9:45 a.m. Sunday, July 15, 2018, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home.  Brother Henry Callison will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Dale Reeves, Bart White, Hal Coffey, Larry Priest, Larry "Honk" Harner, Gordon Fox and Brad Addison.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis "Buck" Buchanan, Steve Jones, Herman and The Gridiron Gang, all Goodyear friends, including Gadsden, Alabama, supervisor Keith Tucker and "A" Crew.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to the OC Student Anglers, 528 Highway 51 North, Troy, Tn. 38260.

Bubba was born April 1, 1965, in Union City, son of James William and Jo Ann (Stowe) Bobbitt of Hickman.  He worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Gadsden, Alabama and was a former member of the Reelfoot Lake Bass Club until he moved to Gadsden.

He is also survived by one son, Cody Bobbitt of Denver, Colorado; one brother, Todd Bobbitt of Hickman, and his special friend, Kim Gardner of Gadsden, Alabama.
