Summer Brooke Mayo, 36, of Murray, Kentucky and formerly of Union City passed away 10:50 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2016, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.

Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Brooke was born July 27, 1980, in Etowah County, Alabama, daughter of Gary Mayo of Union City and the late Linda Kay (Young) Mayo. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Woodland Mills and a graduate of Obion County Central High School in 1998.

She is also survived by one daughter, Presley Brooke Durham; her fiancé, Jonathan Lee of Murray, Ky.; two sisters, Kelli (Roger) Durham of Union City and Pamela (Rodney) Gregg of Union City; Gary's wife, Wanda (Prince) Mayo of Union City; three nephews, Brandon Gregg, Blake Gregg and Bradley Gregg of Union City; one niece, Kayla Laster of Fulton, Ky.; one great niece, Sadie Gregg of Union City and several aunts, uncles and cousins from Gadsden, Alabama.
