Bret Timothy Haynes, 66, of Rives passed away 4:25 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at his home with his family by his side.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Paul Adams will officiate. Burial will follow in Stanley's Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brent Cary, Glen Patterson, James Crigger, Keith Kirk, Ben Glasgow and Kyle Bailey.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Bret was born January 30, 1958, in Lake County, son of the late Donald Haynes and Doris (Childers) Green. He had been employed at the former Sterling Kincade and Kohler Company as a machinist for 44 years.

He is survived by his wife, Tracey Linder-Haynes of Rives; two sons, Destry Haynes and Dakota Haynes both of Union City; two brothers, Mike Haynes (Emily) and Gary Haynes (Pat) all of Union City; one sister, Sheila Haynes of Union City; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and his stepmother, Carolyn Haynes of Union City.

He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, C.E. Green.
