Brenda Faye (Carter) Wilkins, 69, of Union City passed away 4:30 a.m. Thursday, January 1, 2015, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Rick Burton will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Manuel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Armour, Tommy Mathis, Donnie Tucker, Jimmy Richardson, Chris Capps and Mike Richards.

Brenda was born August 25, 1945, in Obion County, daughter of the late Charles Benjamin and Hazel (McQueen) Carter. She was a homemaker and a member of Walnut Log Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Jeff Wilkins of Union City; six grandchildren, Ben Wilkins, Chris Parnell, Anna Parnell, Taylor Wilkins, Marley Wilkins and Daniel Denson all of Union City; six great grandchildren; and three sisters, Elizabeth Ann "Boo" Armour of Woodland Mills, Sue Parnell of the Walnut Log community and Doris Carter of Union City.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Wilkins; one daughter, Rhonda Parnell; one son, Tony Wilkins; and three brothers, Ted Carter, Joe Carter and Jerry Carter .
