Brenda Sturgis' Obituary
Mrs. Brenda Dan Sturgis, 72, of Union City passed away 8:21 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018, at The Waters of Union City.
Memorial services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Shane Long will officiate.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Brenda was born November 25, 1945, in Fulton, daughter of the late Clyde and Ruth Naomi (Blaylock) Payne. She married Jimmy Dan Sturgis April 17, 1964. He passed away August 27, 2006. She was a homemaker and retired after several years of working at the Snack Shop in Union City.
She is survived by two daughters, Missy Lyle of Union City and Stephanie Sturgis of Nashville; one grandson, Chase Lyle of Union City, and one sister, Sonja and Harold Duncan of Union City.
She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Chance Lyle; three brothers, Sidney Payne, Jimmy Payne and Sammy Payne, and one sister, Faye Faulkner.
