Brenda Kaye Kimbel, 63, of New Concord, Kentucky passed away 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2025, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Mike Ruddle will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Kayden Kimbel, Mike Ruddle, Jared Warner, Jeremy Newsom and Garrett Brooks.

Brenda was born January 23, 1962, in Hickman, Kentucky, daughter of the late William "R.B." and Virgie Louise (Bates) Wilmath. She married Kenneth "Ken" Kimbel May 31, 1978. Brenda enjoyed shopping at thrift stores, going to yard sales and designing flower arrangements. She was a homemaker and enjoyed helping others. Brenda was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ken Kimbel of New Concord, Kentucky; two daughters, Kimberly Kimbel and Kayla Kimbel both of Murray, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Kayden Kimbel and Tate Ryan both of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Pam Roberson and husband Larry of Murray, Kentucky and Parah Warner and husband Dennis of Hickman, Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn Garrigus and Debbie Rushing; and one brother, Ray Wilmath.
