Obituary

Mrs. Brenda Carolyn Dotson, 79, of Samburg passed away 11:28 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2023, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Robin Rotgers will officiate.  Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Hornbeak.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Brenda was born December 2, 1943 in Samburg, daughter of the late Earnest and Lottie (Lee) Gamble.  She married the late Ronnie Dotson. She worked for the former Superior Fireplace in Union City.

She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Burrows (Randy) of Ravenswood, West Virginia and Kay Nelson of Troy; three sons, Steve Walls of Samburg, Allen Dotson of Obion and Ronnie Dotson of Chicago, Illinois; three grandchildren, Kassy Mayfield of Troy, Christa Conn of Obion and Chay Westmoreland of Ravenswood, West Virginia; six great grandchildren, Attily Conn, Attison Watkins, Brylee Watkins, Kinsley Watkins, Kaydence Mayfield and Lilyana Mayfield.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Paul Gamble; and two sisters, Flora Mae Vancleave and Ima Jean Moore.
