Brayan Alejandro Ortiz, 26, of Union City passed away 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home.  Brother Octavio Gallegos Jimenez will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Brayan was born April 9, 1997, in Montemorelos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, son of Alejandro Ortiz Guia and Angela Maria Moreno of Union City.

He is also survived by one sister, Samantha Ortiz of Union City; grandparents, Luis Antonio Ortiz (Virginia Guia) of Mexico and Roberto Moreno (Ignacia Torrez) of Mexico; three aunts, Triny Ortiz (Leo Lopez) of Union City, Maria Luisa Moreno (Juan Paredes) of Union City and Ana Moreno of Mexico; and three uncles, Luis Ortiz of Texas, Rigoberto Moreno of Texas and Fernando Moreno of Mexico.
