April 6, 1936 – August 18, 2012
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Hershel Weaver and Brother Tommy Hall will officiate. Burial will follow in Sanders Chapel Cemetery near Union City.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Stribling, Steven Stribling, Alan Stribling, Jr., Nicholas Stribling, Bo Hawk Stribling, Bennie Macon and Jimmy Schmidt.
Mrs. Stribling was born April 6, 1936, in Obion County, daughter of the late Boyd and Ruby (Hughes) Forbus. She married Charles Stribling on January 16, 1959. He survives. She was a homemaker and attended First Assembly of God in Union City.
She is also survived by three sons and daughter-in laws, Bo and Sissy Stribling of Slydell, Louisiana, Alfred and Sherry Stribling of Union City and Alan and Amy Stribling of Trevose, Pennsylvania; sixteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Hazel Yates and one brother, John Forbus.
