Mrs. Bonnie Jane Brown, 70, of Clarksdale, Mississippi passed away 5:15 p.m. Sunday, September 3, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. She was a former resident of Obion County.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Charles Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Rives.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home on Thursday.

Mrs. Brown was born September 30, 1946, in Obion County, daughter of the late William Joseph and Lela Ruth (Cloar) Poore.  Bonnie was a beautician for over 30 years and a member of Oakhurst Baptist Church in Clarksdale, Ms.

She is survived by two sons, Calvin (Peggy) Ford of Clarksdale, Ms. and Joseph Ford of Union City; four grandchildren, Franki Farmer, Jessica Sullinger and Todd Sullinger all of Clarksdale, Ms. and James Sullinger of Grenada, Ms.; 12 great grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Poore of Union City; one niece and two nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, William Joseph Poore, Jr. and James Curtis Poore.
