Mr. Bobby Gene Markle, Sr., 81, of Clinton, Kentucky passed away 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday at First Pentecostal Church of Union City. Brother Billy Uzzle will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at First Pentecostal Church of Union City from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.

Mr. Markle was born July 3, 1939, in Hickman, Kentucky, son of the late Robert Edward and Essie Ozell (Bowlin) Markle. He married Judy (Garrigus) Markle April 9, 1973. She survives. Bobby had served in the Kentucky National Guard, was a retired truck driver and a member of First Pentecostal Church of Union City.

He is also survived by one daughter, Diane Markle of Palmersville; four sons, Richard Markle and Allen Jorgenson both of Camden, Arkansas, Timothy Markle of Clinton, Kentucky and Justin Markle of Mayfield, Kentucky; one sister, Bethel J. Smith of Fordland, Missouri; one brother, Donald Markle of Hickman, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sonja Henderson; one son, Bobby Markle, Jr.; one sister, Mary Edgin; and four brothers, James Markle, Robert Markle, Jr., Franklin Markle and Edward Markle.
