Bobby Neil's Obituary
Bobby Joe Neil, 83, of Sharon went home to be with the Lord Thursday morning, June 14, 2018, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Sharon. Brother Josh Moore and Brother Terry Neil will officiate. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery near Sharon.
Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church in Sharon from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may take the form of donations to First Baptist Church Sharon Building Fund , P.O. Box 96, Sharon, Tennessee 38255.
Mr. Neil was born August 22, 1934, in Obion County, son of the late Luther Marion and Callie Beatrice (Ring) Neil. He married Ruby (Goodman) Neil September 4, 1954. She survives. Mr. Neil was a retired factory worker and farmer. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Sharon where he served as a deacon for many years.
He is also survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Kent Hendon of Union City; one son, Robert Neil of Sharon; four grandchildren and their spouses, Kimberly and Josh Wilkinson of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, Kellie and Zach Freeman of Kenton, Neal and Andrea Hendon of Columbia and Molly and Jake Weatherly of Dyersburg; and eleven great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Davidson; and one brother, Leroy Neil.
