Mr. Robert Roy “Bobby” Kopriva, 74, of Union City passed away 2:10 a.m. Sunday, August 23, 2026, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Kenny Chessor will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

Bobby was born June 9, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late Roy D. and Ann (Bodell) Spencer. He married Marilyn Annette (Johnson) Kopriva December 23, 1980. She survives.

He is also survived by one son, Tim (Amy) Kopriva; two grandsons, Alex (Ashley) Kopriva and Nick Kopriva all of South Fulton; two great granddaughters, Shelby Kopriva and Millie Kopriva; two sisters, Rose Robbins and Mary (Tommy) Pruitt all of Union City; two nieces, Jessica (Donnie) Beasley of Polk Station and Christie Yeager of Union City; and his mother-in-law, Peggy Weaver of Troy.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Morrison and Shirley Duncan; and two brothers, Larry Spencer and Johnny Spencer.
