Mr. Bobby Gene Harper, 81, of Fulton, Kentucky passed away 11:03 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Jerry Hamilton will officiate. Burial will follow in Lynnville Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Coonts, Bobby Payne, David Payne, Cliff French, Larry Bynum and Greg Bynum
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday.
Mr. Harper was born February 25, 1938, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, son of the late George W. and Elizabeth (Tidwell) Harper. He married Carol (Bynum) Harper March 8, 1991. She survives. Bobby worked for Kayser-Roth Corporation for over 20 years and served in the U.S. Air Force and National Guard.
He is also survived by five sons, Luke Bunting (Dani) of Scotland Neck, North Carolina, Billy Bunting (Angie) of Greensboro, North Carolina, Bobby Gene Harper, Jr. (Wanda) of Caruthersville, Missouri, Lawrence Ray Harper of Hillsboro, North Carolina, and Frankie Valentine Harper (Brenda) of Haw River, North Carolina; one daughter, Jo Ann Harper of Aulander, North Carolina; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
He was also preceded in death by one grandson; one granddaughter; and one great granddaughter.
