Bobby Joe Cunningham, 85, of Hickman, Kentucky passed away 6:30 a.m. Saturday, August 10, 2024, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 5:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Charles Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of services Monday.

Pallbearers will be Charles Choate, Tommy Mathis, Mike True, Charlie Huffstutter, Jimmy Rowland and Tony Brown.

Bobby Joe was born November 2, 1938, in Obion County, son of the late Joe Winston and Daisy Mae (Ferrell) Cunningham. He married Joyce (Blassingame) Cunningham January 10, 1959. She preceded him in death August 18, 2021. He had been employed at Carborundum in Hickman and was a livestock farmer. Bobby Joe was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by two children, Teresa "TC" Henry and Stevie Joe Cunningham both of Hickman, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Andrea Love and husband Doug and Brittany Williamson and husband Mitchell all of Union City and Benjamin Kyle Henry of Bowling Green, Kentucky; five great grandchildren, Mackenzie Love, Peyton Love, Maximus Williamson and Maverick Williamson all of Union City and Tyler Love of Hickman, Kentucky; and one brother, Jerry Ray Cunningham and wife Shelby of the Shawtown community.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita Council and Ruth Duff.
