Mr. Billy Hayes Pryor, 87, of Troy died 11:53 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Rev. Judd Mowery will officiate. Burial will follow in Cobbs Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Mr. Pryor was born June 12, 1926, in Troy, son of the late Jake and Sarah (Dabbs) Pryor. He married Sue (Brandon) Pryor November 23, 1962. She died January 21, 2011. Mr. Pryor was a retired employee of Kohler in Union City and a member of Cobbs Chapel United Methodist Church. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Steven L. and Dianne Pryor of Olive Branch, Mississippi; two granddaughters and the spouse of one, Nichole and Gary Garligton of Germantown and Courtney Pryor of Olive Branch, Mississippi; one great granddaughter, Sophia Garlington of Germantown; three nieces, Cindy Siglow, Gina Caruthers and Viva Deverell; and four nephews, Richard Pryor, David Pryor, Bart Orr and Greg Orr.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Randolph H. Pryor; two brothers, Ned Pryor and Ken Pryor; and one niece, Janice Pryor.
