Graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday at Sorrell Chapel Cemetery in Dyer County. Brother Leroy Brent will officiate.

Mr. McKnight was born August 1, 1957 in Dyersburg, son of the late Albert Wayne and Virginia Maxine (Jackson) McKnight.

He is survived by three sons, Michael (Christa) McKnight of the Mt. Pelia Community, Chad (Melissa) McKnight of Gleason and Phillip Wayne Dorse of Dyersburg; two daughters, Stacey Diane Balentine of Friendship and Kimberley Golden of Covington; two sisters, Shirry (Larry) Balentine and Ollie (Billy Joe) Martindale both of Friendship; two brothers, Donnie Shelton and Ronnie Shelton both of Friendship and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the graveside.

Family will serve as pallbearers.
