Mr. Billy Ralph Mayfield, Sr., 82, of South Fulton passed away 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home.  Brother DeAndre Adams will officiate.  Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Obion.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Friday.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Billy was born January 29, 1938, in Wilson, Arkansas, son of the late Fred and Fair Mae (Davis) Mayfield.  He worked for the former Moser and Jones Furniture Store and the City of Union City.

He is survived by two sons, Jeff Mayfield of Obion and Billy Mayfield, Jr. (Lessie) of Obion; one daughter, Lori Hawks (Scotty) of South Fulton; one sister, Carol Atkinson of Charleston, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Mayfield and Fred Mayfield; one granddaughter; and one great grandson.
