Mrs. Billie Jean Killian, 86, of Union City passed away 2:25 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2019, at the Obion County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Justin Hiens will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Kelly Killian, Alan Tidwell, Ted McIntosh, Phillip Clark, Craig Dugger and Don Bailey.
Mrs. Killian was born January 17, 1933, in Belmont, Mississippi, daughter of the late Otho and Hazel (Bruton) Vinson. She married Garland Killian March 23, 1951. He preceded her in death June 9, 1991. Billie had been the owner and operator of the former Killian's Four Point Grocery near Cayce, Kentucky, and had been employed at the former Wonder Bread Thrift Store and Town & Country Cleaners. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Killian (Rhonda) of Union City and David Killian (Marilyn) of Chattanooga; two sisters, Linda Welch of West Memphis, Arkansas and Sue Fagan (Bill) of Truman, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Steve Killian; two brothers, William Carroll Vinson and James "Jimp" Vinson; two sisters, Freida Vinson Vick and Willa Vinson Presley; and her brother-in-law, Bill Welch.
