Mr. William Elmer "Bill" Prince, Jr., 88, of Union City died 10:33 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Union City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Rev. Marshall Easley, Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in Little Obion Cemetery near Wingo, Ky.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Steven Sanford, Floyd Crawford, Johnny Biggen, James Sanford, Jack Cole and Wendall Woods.
Mr. Prince was born July 15, 1927, in Martin, Tn., son of the late William Elmer Prince, Sr. and Dovie (Parsons) Prince. He married Dorothy Marie (Mullins) Prince July 12, 1952. She died February 11, 2010. He worked for the Community Development Services in Martin and attended Cane Creek Baptist Church near Rives.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Marla and Terry Sanford of Union City and one grandson, Matthew Venne of Missouri.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Dean Prince.
