Mr. William Oneail "Bill" Lawrence, 88, of Union City passed away 5:45 a.m. Sunday, September 12, 2021, at AHC Union City.

Graveside services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Friday at West Hill Cemetery near Rives. Jessie Southerland will officiate.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for services.

Bill was born September 19, 1932, in Tiptonville, son of the late John Clifton "Jack" and Bertha Mae (Lyles) Lawrence. He was a member of the Sassafras Ridge Baptist Church and U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean War.

He is survived by six sons, John Lawrence (Nellie) of Florida, Barak, Michael, Billie, Willie and Joe; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, Danny Lawrence (Jane) of Union City; and three sisters, Sue Duncan of Opelika, Alabama, Linda Faye Collier of Fulton, Kentucky and Donna Kay Gilbreath (Steve) of Mayflower, Arkansas.

He was also preceded in death by two sons, Daubrey and Eddie; and eleven brothers and sisters.
