Mr. William Earl "Bill" Heacock, Jr., 80, of Troy died 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at his home.
Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home.
Mr. Heacock was born March 10, 1933, in Sullivan, Illinois, son of the late William Earl Heacock, Sr. and the late Josephine (Ashby) Heacock. He married Sue (McNaughton) Heacock November 15, 1963. She died March 27, 2013. Bill had been employed at the former Brown Shoe Company and Wal-Mart both in Union City and served in the United States Navy.
He is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Sheila Ann Bartley and Bill and Melanie Norwood all of Troy; four grandchildren and the spouses of two, Joseph Weldon and (Revae) Norwood and Heather Ann Bartley all of Troy, Amanda Carol Robbins of Obion and Christopher Lee and Mickaela Bartley of Warsaw, New York; one great granddaughter, Evelyn Sue Bartley of Warsaw, New York; one sister, Nancy Stowers of Steelville, Illinios; and three brothers, Roger Allen Heacock of York, Pennsylvania, George Richard Heacock of Ft. Littleton, Pennsylvania and Ronald Arthur Heacock of Puxico, Illinois.
