May 11, 1932 – November 14, 2020
William "Bill" Harpole, 88, of Union City passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020, at the Obion County Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at East View Cemetery. Angie Howe will officiate.
There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Harpole was born May 11, 1932, in Louisiana, Missouri, son of the late Edward and Mildred (Payne) Harpole. He married Nina (Smith) Harpole March 11, 1951. She passed away November 22, 2019. Mr. Harpole was a veteran of the US Marines, and had been employed at Trunkline and Panhandle Eastern facilities in Illinois and Tennessee.
He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Sharon (Appelquist) Harpole of Chicago, Illinois and Daniel Harpole of Adamsville; five grandchildren; one great grandson; two sisters, Audrey Bland of St. Clair, Mo. and Caroline Bayer of Dellwood, Fl.; and one brother, Gary Harpole.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Judy Harpole and Delores Eveland; and one brother, Robert "Bob" Harpole.
