Mr. Bill Fussell, 71, of Union City died 5:18 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Sunswept Baptist Church in Union City. Brother Eddie Mallonee and Brother James Kinsey will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Sunswept Baptist Church from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Rick Stacks, Larry Armstrong, Butch Fussell, Larry Baker, Johnny Garrett and Mike McClerkin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Leggett and the Corner Bar-B-Q coffee drinkers.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Hometown Walk of Hope, P.O. Box 482, Union City, Tennessee 38281.

Mr. Fussell was born July 27, 1941, in Obion County, son of the late Robert E. and Lucille (McCant) Fussell. He married Thelma (Wallace) Fussell March 21, 1964. She survives. Mr. Fussell and his wife are the owners of Southlane Bowling and retired as the owners of Corner Bar-B-Q in August 2012 after thirty nine years of service. He was a member of Sunswept Baptist Church. Mr. Fussell was a United States Army veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, LaDonna and David Tomlinson of Union City; his son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Tracy Fussell of Union City; four grandchildren and the spouse of one, Amberly and Jamie Worrell, Kandace Tomlinson and Elliott Tomlinson all of Union City and Chassidy Fussell of Austin, Texas; his step granddaughter, Megan Garwood of the Netherlands; his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Christine Fussell, Barbara Gallimore and Jesse and Eva Wallace all of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Fussell and Horace Fussell.
