Billy Russell "Bill" Cantrell, 70, of Union City passed away Friday, January 10, 2020, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

There will be no services. Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Bill was born June, 23, 1949 in Cairo, Illinois. He married Tina Marie (Howington) Cantrell October 15, 2001. She preceded him in death February 8, 2018. He had served in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army and was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his cousin and wife who cared for him, Ralph and Cheryl Wright of Union City; his sister-in-law, Rhonda Williams of Union City; two nephews, Kasey Rogers and Kyle Rogers both of Union City; two stepsons, Zach Culver of Bradford and Joshua Culver of Sharon; and three cousins, Edith Wright of Mundelein, Illinois, Michael Wright of Des Plaines, Illinois and Thomas Wright of Chicago.
