Mrs. Betty Jane Suiter,70, of the Pleasant Hill community, died 6:00 a.m. Sunday, October 4, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- Memphis.

Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery . Jeff Bell will officiate.

Mrs. Suiter was born March 28, 1939, in Manchester, Michigan, daughter of the late Alton Fletcher and the late Ester (Risner) Bedwell. She married James Delbert "Jimmy" Suiter on July 15, 1967. He died August 11, 2000. She was a member of Bishop Street Church of Christ and had been a baby sitter for many years.

She is survived by her son, Jamie Suiter of the Pleasant Hill community; two sisters, Rhuebeana Bailey of Chelsea, Michigan and Verbeana Calkins of Battle Creek, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Timmy Suiter and two brothers, Gerald Fletcher and Henry Fletcher.

Pallbearers to serve will be Bradley Sellers, Gordon May, Trevor Clouse, Travis Clouse, Tim Barbour, Brad Barbour, Glenn Mosier, Paul Mosier and Randy Mosier.

The family will receive friends in the Rosewood Room at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday.
