Memorial services for Ms. Speer will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services on Saturday.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Mattie Morgan; and three sisters, Mary Frances Teague, Barbara Faye Morgan and Phyllis Kay Morgan.

She is survived by two sisters and her brother-in-law, JoAnn Sims of Barling, Arkansas and Linda and James Donnell of Union City; three brothers and her sisters-in-law, David and Elaine Morgan of Kenton, Danny Morgan of Dukedom, Kentucky and Michael and Lisa Morgan of Paducah, Kentucky; 18 nieces and nephews, including several in this area and their spouses, Tabitha Chambers, Mark and Jackie Morgan, Tony and Amanda Donnell and Melissa and John Hughey, all of Union City, Michael and Kelly Morgan of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Jennie Morgan of Kenton, Angie and Jay Finnell of Hornbeak, Rob Donnell of North Carolina, Penny (Morgan) Fisher of East Tennessee, James Morgan of Knoxville and John Morgan of Nashville, along with other nieces and nephews around the country; 39 great-nieces and great-nephews; several aunts and uncles; and many beloved cousins and friends.
