Betty Jane Lofton, 76, of Obion passed away 4:26 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at her home.

Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2024, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Eugene Hudgins will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday, June 2, 2024.

Betty Jane was born March 20, 1948, in Lake County, daughter of the late James Edward "Pete" Stanfill and Elizabeth Jane (Archie) Stanfill. She married Charles Lofton May 5, 1967. She was a homemaker, enjoyed golfing and was a member of First Baptist Church in Obion.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles Lofton of Obion; two daugthters, Stefanie Lofton Gill and husband Billy of Collierville and Stacie Lofton Lee and husband Jim of Newbern; three grandsons, Warren Gill and wife Trinity of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Caden Gill of Collierville and Evan Lee of Newbern; and two great grandchildren, Kellan Rose Gill and Waylon Gill both of Olive, Branch, Mississippi.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Randall Scott "Randy" Stanfill and James Archie "Bubba" Stanfill.
