Betty Rae Cardiel, 63, of Martin passed away 10:16 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Johnny Bray will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

Betty was born November 7, 1955, in Williston, North Dakota, daughter of the late Walter James Bekke and the late Esther Ruth (Teske) McDonald. She had been employed as a care giver.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Dexter (Chris Robinson) and Barbara Montgomery (Bennie) all of Martin; three sons, Bryan Bray (Melinda) of New England, North Dakota, Johnny Bray (Kaeleigh Mahurin) of Nevada, Missouri and Johnny Jaramillo (Kayla) of Martin; two sisters, Linda Gross (Lyle) and Beverly Reed all of Haslett, Michigan; one brother, James Bekke of Williston, North Dakota; sixteen grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
