Bessie Lou Tune, 94, of South Fulton passed away Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Obion County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Russell Zik will officiate. Burial will follow in Johnson Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Tune, Dennis Pitman, David Parks, J.D. Dawkins, Sam Sinclair and Allen Edmaiston.
Bessie was born February 15, 1932, in South Fulton, daughter of the late Raymond Arley and Grace Inez (Crockett) Roach. She had been employed as a food service associate at the University of Tennessee at Martin. Bessie was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City . She loved her church and had a gift of serving and helping others.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Tune Agee of Fulton, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Ashley Powell Duncan and husband Bobby, Adam Tune and wife Jana, Mitchell Davis and wife Kristen, Joseph Tune and wife Courtney and Rachel Agee; and 8 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded by her son, James Arley Tune; and three sisters, Willowdean Zickefoose, Mary Nell Amptman and Bonnie Ruth Eastep.
