Mrs. Bertha Louise Henry, 81, of Martin passed away 7:00 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2022, at Quince Nursing Home in Memphis.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Her granddaughter, Hallie Burke will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be family.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at service time.

Mrs. Bertha was born June 8, 1941, in Bradford, daughter of the late David Henry and Helen Louise (Clark) Jones. She married Cloyce William Henry December 1, 1957. He passed away March 22, 2022. She loved to travel and was an avid bridge player. She worked as a medical assistant in doctor clinics.

She is survived by two granddaughters, Hallie Henry Burke (Phillip) of Hernando, Mississippi and Lauren Ashley Henry of Little Rock, Arkansas; two great grandchildren, Jason and Jamerson Burke of Hernando, Mississippi; her daughter-in-law, Cindy Hampton of Olive Branch, Mississippi; and two brothers, Charles Jones (Joyce) of Martin and Sammie Jones (Pat) of Dresden.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Jackie Glen Henry; and her brother, Carnell Jones.
