Bernice Donnell Shore, 84, of Union City passed away 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2020, at her home.
Graveside services will be held at Tiptonville City Cemetery for immediate family only.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Exchange Street Church of Christ, 720 Exchange Street, Union City, Tennessee 38261 or to your local animal shelter.
Bernice was born August 18, 1935, in Hornbeak, daughter of the late Lester Garrett McCord and the late Helen Irene (Orr) Levister. She was the widow of Jere "Jack" Donnell who preceded her in death in 1972 and Joel Shore who preceded her in death in 2015. Bernice had been the owner and operator of Merle Norman in Martin and had been employed at Sears in Union City. She was a member of Exchange Street Church of Christ.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Celeste and Rick Wilson of Union City; two sons and one daughter-in-law, John and Elaine Donnell of Collierville and Gerald Donnell of Union City; four grandchildren and the spouses of two, Elizabeth and Michael Paul Miller of Union City, Paige and Will Espey of Huntingdon, Jackson Donnell of Paducah, Kentucky and Devin King of Nashville; one great granddaughter, Molly Grace Miller of Union City; and one niece, Donna Hoppe of Pensacola, Florida.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jackie Stanley; one sister, Edna Holifield; and one great granddaughter, Mary Jack Miller.
