Ben Riley's Obituary
Mr. Benjamin Burkett "Ben" Riley, 79, of Union City passed away 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at The Waters of Union City.
Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Mr. Riley was born December 9, 1938, in New Hebron, Mississippi, son of the late Edward Monroe Riley, Sr. and the late Vera (Burkett) Riley. He married Peggy Gwyn (Taylor) Riley July 30, 1961. She survives. Ben was a retired x ray technician and a very active member of the Mississippi Society of Radiologic Technologists where he was a lifetime member. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, woodworking and fishing. Ben was a devout Christian.
He is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Tiffany Riley of Union City; and two grandchildren, Halle Riley and Hayes Riley both of Union City.
He was also preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
