Ben Nicholson's Obituary
Mr. Benjamin James Nicholson, 87, of Union City passed away 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at his home.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Mr. Nicholson was born July 25, 1930, in Denison, Iowa, son of the late Clair and Mary (O'Connor) Nicholson. He married Emma Lou (Wright) Nicholson April 13, 1974. She survives. Ben worked at Wal-Mart in the meat department for many years and was a Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
He is also survived by one son, Corey Nicholson of Union City; one daughter,Cynthia Nicols Darin of Seminole, Florida; and three grandchildren, Collin Nicholson and Corbin Nicholson both of Union City and Lindsey Darin of Seminole, Florida.
He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Darin, two brothers and three sisters.
