Barbara Jo Walden, 73, of Union City passed away 4:15 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at Manna Ministries. Pastor Ruth Green Pace will officiate. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Manna Ministries from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

Pallbearers will be Luke Walden, Ethan Walden, Johnathan Jonas, Jared Jonas, Aaron Ray, Jr., Bill Green, Josh Staggs, Bryan Staggs and Zach Simpson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Ray, Sr., Joe Simpson, Bob Pace, Harlan Bennett and Sonny Hackler.

Barbara was born October 25, 1947, in Lake County, daughter of the late Joe Henry and May Belle (Reynolds) Estes. She married Wesley Walden, Sr. October 12, 1963. He preceded her in death April 13, 2017. Barbara had been employed as a customer service representative for Wilton Tool in LaVergne and was a homemaker. She was a member of Manna Ministries.

She is survived by four sons, Wes Walden (Debbie) of Union City, Mike Walden (Cathy) of Munford, Roger Walden of Panama City, Florida and Randy Walden (Denise) of Panama City, Florida; five grandchildren, Steve Walden (Betty) of Smyrna, Cacey Walden of Dayton, Ohio, Hannah Walden and Luke Walden both of Munford and Ethan Walden (Liz) of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; and three sisters, Ruth Green Pace (Bob), Jan Staggs and May Simpson (Joe) all of Union City.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Ray; three brothers, Harold Estes, Steve Estes and Larry Estes; and one brother-in-law, Dee Staggs.
