Mrs. Barbara Nell Slaughter, 87, of Troy passed away 5:30 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2020, at Obion County Nursing Home.

There will be no services. Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Barbara was born April 28, 1933, in McKenzie, Tn., daughter of the late Major and Pearl (Horn) Reynolds.  She married Charles Slaughter April 3, 1952.  He passed away December 30, 2011.  She worked for the Milan Arsenal for many years and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Slaughter (Delores) of Troy and George Slaughter of Florida; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Desiree Rerick; two sisters, Evelyn Parker and Shirley Wright; and one brother, Billy Reynolds.
