Barbara Bates' Obituary
Mrs. Barbara Ann Bates, 74, of Union City passed away 8:55 a.m. Monday, August 24, 2015, at Martin Health Care Center.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Raleigh, Mississippi.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bates was born October 21, 1940, in Miami, Florida, daughter of the late Charles Milton and Lois (Ziegler) Wurster. She married Clifford L. Bates, Sr. March 25, 1960. He died August 2, 1992. Mrs. Bates had been employed by Kenneth Copeland Ministries.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Clifford L. Bates, Jr. and Shelila Bates of Union City and Thomas M. Bates of Texas; one brother, Charles Wurster of Florida; and one grandson, Joseph Bates of Union City.
