Barbara Arnett's Obituary
Mrs. Barbara Elaine (Pruitt) Arnett, 61, of Union City died 5:30 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2009, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday at East View Cemetery. Brother James Kinsey and Brother Larry Hitesman will officiate. There will be no visitation.
Mrs. Arnett was born August 17, 1948, in Union City, daughter of the late Hilon and Jackie (Biggers) Pruitt. She married Joe Wesley Arnett on October 3, 1998. He died February 5, 2008. She had been a head bank teller for a bank in Maryland and was a Baptist.
She is survived by one stepson and his wife, Patrick and Linda Arnett of Annapolis, Maryland; one stepdaughter and her husband, Tammy and Bill Harris of Lexington Park, Maryland; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Ricky Brown of Union City; two brothers, Eddie Pruitt of Jackson and Bobby Pruitt of Easley, South Carolina; and seven stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Joe Jimerson.
Pallbearers to serve will be Patrick Arnett, Ricky Brown, Chad Carroll, Jerry Robinson, Gary Lyman and Ken Vincent.
