Mr. Ralph Arnold Wheatley, Jr., 48, of Obion passed away 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Mike Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Stevie Joe Cunningham, Tripp Crocker, Phillip Crouce, Christian Parker, Tanner Cary, Linden Scarbrough and Layton Scarbrough.

Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Wede, H.R. Houston, Mary Carter, Phyllis Liphford, Charlotte Boyd and Tim Smith.

Arnold was born January 5, 1966, in West Memphis, Arkansas, son of Caroline (Spicer) and Ralph Arnold Wheatley, Sr. of Troy. He married Doris (Osborne) Wheatley December 6, 1997. She survives. Arnold was employed as a maintenance operator for Hillshire Brands in Newbern and was of the Church of Christ faith.

He is also survived by one daughter, Brea Humphries of Rives; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Darryl Scarbrough of Union City and Robin and Trent Cary of Troy; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Rebecca Lynn Wheatley and Tina Graham.
