Obituary

Mrs. Annie Quinn, 69, of the Shawtown community died 9:35 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2013, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Dr. Bobby Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in Cobbs Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Brown, Everett D. Hutchison, Terry Kirk, Lynn Parish, Bobby Hall and Steve Alexander.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Allison, Jamie Parish, Jerry Hutchison and Jerry Grooms.

Mrs. Quinn was born September 20, 1943, in Lake County, daughter of the late Audie Riley and Eva Pauline (Peters) Blassingame. She married Jimmy Wayne "Crazy Horse" Quinn, Sr. November 3, 1961. He died January 13, 2005. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy "Little Wayne" and Beth Quinn and Jeff Monroe and Delta Quinn all of the Shawtown community; four grandchildren, Jeremy Quinn, Christopher Quinn, Jake Quinn and Lainey Quinn all of the Shawtown community; three great grandchildren, Aiden Quinn, Karson Quinn and Ramsey Turner all of the Shawtown community; her brother and sister-in-law, Bud and Elizabeth Blassingame of the Shawtown community; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Bobby Joe Cunningham of Woodland Mills and Willie and Lee Horne of Pulaski.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sue Scott and Maxine Blassingame.
