Mrs. Roanne "Anne" Laster, 84, of Troy passed away 1:35 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2019, at West Tennessee Healthcare - Volunteer Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 :00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Dr. John Lowrence and Pastor Justin Hiens will officiate. Burial will follow in New Ebenezer Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Steve Laster, Ray Laster, Charlie Bone, B.J. Phillips, Roger Woodward, Marty Lannom, Brian Hughes and Sam Stephens.

Mrs. Laster was born January 2, 1935, in Paris, Tennessee, daughter of the late Thomas Quitman and Martha (Carter) Collier Ball. She married Joseph Burton Laster, Sr. May 23, 1951. He died April 23, 2003 .She was a homemaker and longtime member of Second Baptist Church in Union City where she taught Sunday School in the children's department.

She is survived by one daughter, Martha Laster of Union City; one son, Burt Laster (Jo) of Troy; two grandsons, Steve Laster (Diane) of Lakeland, Tennessee and Ray Laster (Brittany) of Troy; three great grandsons, Grant and Lucas Laster of Troy and James Laster of Lakeland, Tennessee; one niece, Ellen Fulgham (Clint) of Birmingham, Alabama; brother-in-law, Floyd Laster (Tommye) of Savannah, Tennessee; and sister-in-law, Marjorie Collier of Birmingham, Alabama.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Thomas E. Collier and her nephew, Timothy Collier.
