Ann (Finney) Williams, 83, of Union City passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday morning, March 7, 2021, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Dr. Melvin Poe and Brother Terry Griffin will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Tom Finney, Roger Finney, Rick Legens, Steve Legens, Greg Hornbeak and Kenny Ray.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday.

Ann was born January 23, 1938, in Dresden, daughter of the late William Allen and Nola (Williams) Finney. She married Joe David Williams August 10, 1957. He preceded her in death December 15, 2010. Ann was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Union City where she was a member of the Victory Sunday school class and sang with the Calvary Quartet.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jo Ann and Ricky Horton of Union City; one son and daughter-in-law, Kerry and Carla Williams of Fulton, Kentucky; six grandchildren, C.J. Williams and his wife Shannon of Union City, Nikki Williams and her finace Chase Lilly of Savannah, Will Horton and his wife Rylee of Murfreesboro, Jentri Nelson and her husband Adam of Martin and Gary Horton and Jennifer Elliott both of Springfield, Oregon; and six great grandchildren, Hollis Nelson, Nola Nelson, Charlotte Nelson, Emma Jo Horton, Aria Elliott and Sarah Jane Williams.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters; and three brothers.
