Mrs. Ann Moore, 88, of Obion County passed away 12:53 a.m. Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the home of her daughter.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Exchange Street Church of Christ in Union City. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy with Glen Reed officiating.
Visitation will be held at Exchange Street Church of Christ from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Rick Robinson, Christopher Dianna, Dr. James Turner, Andrew Moore, Jack Moore and Nathan Moore.
Honorary pallbearers Drew Moore, Dylan Moore, James Turner and Dr. Lynn McHugh.
The family request fresh flowers for the grave to be sent to the church. In lieu of gifts, the family request donations to be made to: OUTsideIN, 107 West Westbrook Street, Troy, Tn. 38260.
Ann was born February 25, 1938, in Trenton, daughter of the late Howard and Ruble (Milburn) McHugh. She married Milburn "Bud" Moore in 1961. He passed away April 5, 2003. She retired after 40 years of teaching with Obion County Central High School. After retirement she worked part time helping people in Obion County receive hundreds of GEDS. Ann was a faithful member of Exchange Street Church of Christ.
She is survived by one daughter, Christy (Rick) Robinson; one sister, Linda (Jim) Turner; one brother, Dr. Lynn (Cheryl) McHugh; step granddaughter, Kendra (Todd) Austin; step great grandchildren, Allie, Kate, Avery and Tate; step granddaughter, Erica (Scott) Key; step great grandchildren, Addison and Noah; niece, Jody (Chris) Dianna; great niece, Caroline; great nephew, Will; nephew, Eric (Cooky) Johnson; niece, Tara (Chris) Taliaferro; great nephew, David; great nieces, Ileigh Esther and Ella; nephew, Dr. James (Dr. Nun) Turner; favorite cousin, Diane Riley and sons, Robert Edward and Doug Lockard; aunt, Helen Boyers and family; niece, Nancy Jane (Barry) Jontz and family; sister-in-law, Gale Moore Mowery; great niece, Julie Moore; great nephews, Nathan and Jacob Moore; nephew, Andy (Cindy) Moore; and great nephews, Drew, Dylan and Jack Moore.
