Obituary

Mary Ann Jones, 77 of Hickman passed away 2:09 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2017, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday at First Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in Union City. Brother Billy Uzzle will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Baker, Scott Baker, Jaron Baker, Clint Baker, Madison Uzzle and Jordan Davis

Visitation will be held at First Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ from 10:00 a.m until service time on Monday.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ann was born June 8, 1939 in Hickman, Ky., daughter of the late Lonnie and Doris (Jackson) McKenzie. She married Charles "Shorty" Jones January 21, 1956. He died April 8, 2008. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in Union City and was a waitress for many years.

She is survived by three sons, Randy (Penny) Jones of Hickman, Billy Jones of Waterloo, S.C. and Jeff (Becky) Jones of Hickman; one daughter, Tammy Baggett of Hickman; one brother, Jimmy (Mary) McKenzie of Benton, Ky.; two sisters, Jean (Donnie) Sutton of Hickman and Gloria Crittendon of Union City; ten grandchildren, Chase Jones, Cayce Jones, Larry Jones, Preston Baggett and Katie Baggett of Hickman, Monica Jones, Kristan Jones and Scott Jones of Waterloo, S.C., Megan Scott of Fulton and Clay Jones of Cayce and seven great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, three sisters and one angel baby, Joy.
