Ann Cook 1941-2015
Mrs. Thelma Ann Cook, 73, of Union City passed away 8:05 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at
Healing Faith Family Worship Center
. Pastor Shane Long will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at
Healing Faith Family Worship Center
from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday and after 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Robert Owens, David Nolan, Keith Cook, Royce Cook, Jr., Christopher Owens, Tommy Owens, Thad Meck, Dale Koon and Mike Jurgiel.
Mrs. Cook was born August 16, 1941, in Union City, daughter of the late Cecil C. and Bessie (Smith) Owens. She was married to Royce Cook. He died in 2005. She attended Healing Faith Family Worship Center and she retired from Tyson Foods in Union City.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Resa and Gary Dale Koon of Martin; one son and daughter-in-law, Charles Augusta and Candice Tansor of Union City; three step sons, Keith Cook of Greenfield, Royce Cook, Jr. of Austin Springs and Kenny Cook of Atwood; two grandchildren and husband of one, Brittney Lynn and Thad Meck of Martin and Chloe Tansor of Knoxville; two great grandchildren, Carter Gwen Gibson of Milan and Kenzleigh Faith Gooch of Jackson; two sisters, Nancy Davis of Woodland Mills and Valrie Johnson of Kenton; seven brothers, Cecil Owens of Michigan, Dale Owens, David Owens and Tommy Owens all of Union City, George Owens of Missouri, Chuck Owens of Paris; and Jim Owens of Alabama.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Rex August Tansor and two brothers, Elbert Owens and Eugene Owens.
