Anita Lawrence's Obituary
Mary Anita Lawrence, 70, of Hickman, Kentucky passed away 12:31 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Leroy Crumble will officiate.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday.
Anita was born September 5, 1947, in Hickman, Kentucky, daughter of the late Boyd and Mable (Hayden) O'Connor. She married Tony Lawrence, Sr. September 8, 1965. He preceded her in death February 1, 2013. Anita had been employed at the former Brown Shoe Company and was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Melody Bell of Union City, Gina Readenour of Hickman, Kentucky and Shonda and David Morgan of Osceola, Arkansas; one son, Tony Lawrence, Jr. of Hickman, Kentucky; 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Angel Moore; two grandsons, Dustin Lynn Ford and Daniel Lee Ford, Jr.; one great grandson, Darrian Polk; two sisters, Lou Ella Wainscott and Betty Newsom; and four brothers, Leo O'Connor, Joe O'Connor, Steve O'Connor and Bruce O'Connor.
