Mrs. Anita Ann Isbell, 78, passed away 3:16 a.m. Monday, June 21, 2021, at Diversicare of Martin.

Memorial services will be Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Second Baptist Church in Union City.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Anita was born July 14, 1942, in Bexar County, Tx., daughter of the late Robert and Charlene (Carter) Hiland. She married the late Philip Wayne Isbell on January 12, 1967. Before retiring, she worked many years at Dollar General as assistant manager and in customer service.  Mrs. Anita was a member of Second Baptist Church.

She is survived by one sister, Gladys Jordon of Chicago Ill.; one son, Darrell Isbell of St. Louis, Mo.; one daughter, Dawn (Martin) Jenkins of Union City, Tn.; four grandchildren and two step grandchildren, Jeffery (Lynsey) Harper of Rustburg, Va., Jason (Aubrey) Isbell of St. Louis, Mo., Bryan Harper of Union City, Tn., Emily Isbell of St. Louis, Mo., Michael Jenkins of Martin, Tn., and Amanda Turnbow of Martin, Tn.; three great-grandchildren, Brayden Harper of Rustburg, Va., Karsen Turnbow of Martin, Tn., and Everett Isbell of St. Louis, Mo.; one nephew, Stephen (Jane) Aquino of Chicago, Ill.; and one niece, Harper (Patrick) Horan of Austin, Tx.

She is also preceded in death by one son, Jason Scott Isbell.
