Ms. Andrea Kaye "Andy" (Thornton) Anderson, 64, of Martin died 7:00 a.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson. She was a former resident of Union City.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother David Spencer will officiate. The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Ms. Anderson was born March 26, 1948, in New Jersey, daughter of the late Polly (Keiser) Latimer. She had been a care giver all of her life and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Jenifer Anderson of Martin; her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Rae Lyn Anderson of Slidell, Louisiana; her brother, Edd Thornton of Union City; and three grandchildren, Taylor Anderson of Slidell, Louisiana and Hailey Seguna and Logan Matheny both of Martin.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Craig Thornton.
