Alice Staggs' Obituary
Mrs. Alice Faye Staggs, 65, of Hornbeak passed away 7:58 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Regional One Health in Memphis.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Living Word Church in Hornbeak. Brother Archie Larry will officiate. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery in Troy.
Visitation will be held at Living Word Church from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Ben Pollock, Nelson Tolley, Jr., Jerry Richards, Ricky Staggs, Lee Tolley and Jerry Rodriquez. Honorary pallbearers will be Cotton Brewer, Randy Turner and all the men of Living Word Church.
Mrs. Staggs was born April 17, 1953, in Memphis, Tn., daughter of the late Roy Lee and Lizzy Alice (Morton) Tolley. She married Billy Staggs July 20, 1968. He survives. Mrs. Staggs worked for several years at the former H.I.S. plant in Tiptonville and later became a homemaker. She was also a member of the Living Word Church in Hornbeak.
She is also survived by one daughter, Felicia and Melvin Price of Troy; one granddaughter, Katelyn Price of Troy; one brother, Nelson and Diane Tolley of Kenton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Sue Wherry and two brothers, Edward Tolley and Rudy Tolley.
