Albert Hall Wheeler, 86, of Hornbeak died 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Funeral services for Mr. Wheeler will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Southerland officiating. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday.
He was born Sept. 20, 1926, in Waverly, son of the late Ray and Mary Wheeler. He was married to Letha (Brown) Wheeler. She survives. He was a veteran of the Army and worked as a vacuum cleaner salesman for Electrolux Corp. for many years. He was a member of Hornbeak Baptist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9750 in Tiptonville.
He is also survived by his son, Larry Wheeler of Oklahoma; his daughter, Sandy Cagle of Tiptonville; two step-daughters, Tammy Baldwin of Hornbeak and Ramona Work of North Carolina; his sister, Martha Wheeler of Arizona; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.
